Certified Nursing Assistant

 

Looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant that delivers direct care to patients as directed in various settings within healthcare. Who always maintains patient comfort, safety, and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities in-home or nursing home environments, and ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients

• Document care provided and report changes in resident status

• Providing positive, warm, and friendly service in all interactions

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect 

• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner

Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Employee must be 18 years of age or older

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to attend scheduled CPR classes and training

• Ability to prioritize and deal with numerous tasks at one time

• Possess reliable transportation and the ability to be on time for shifts 

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) by the Maryland Board of Nursing
